2016 is rough. Not only have we said goodbye to David Bowie, but we're also faced with the sudden loss of Prince.

An incredibly iconoclastic and innovative figure, Prince was a master in his field. And just like Bowie, his passing is shocking in the fact that both were still creatively active.

Singaporean musician/funk geek Dru Chen was especially contemplative in light of Prince's sudden death, being one of Chen's biggest influences.

After saying a few words about The Artist Forever Known As Prince, he has now shared a heartfelt cover of a classic Prince ballad, 'Adore', the stunning closer to his double-disc masterwork Sign O' The Times.
