Two years after her shows in Singapore where she sold out two set times at 2013's Mosaic Music Festival, electronic pop musician Grimes has released a brand new music video — a track that was meant to be on her latest album, which she has since scrapped. The music video, with the track titled 'REALiTi', shows her romping around iconic Singaporean places like Haw Par Villa (pictured) and Gardens by the Bay.
The video, in her own words, was released "as a special thank you to everyone in Singapore, KL, Manila, Jakarta, HK, Shanghai, Beijing, Taipei, Seoul, Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo who came out to the shows! It was an honor to play with a bunch of amazing bands and travel to places I would never otherwise be able to go." The video also shows her having fun in other Asian countries she performed in — a tour that followed a tremendous increase in her popularity due to the growing success of her album Visions.
While there's no news about this track being released officially, it signals a slight shift in her sound — a shift that's definitely minute compared to her comprehensively radio-friendly single 'Go (ft. Blood Diamonds)'.
