The inaugural opening of Neon Lights which just happened two weekends ago was a ball of fun, trust us we had a killer time as you can see in our festival showdown article with Hong Kong music festival Clockenflap.

But in-between all the boisterous play we had at the festival grounds, we took some of the artists on the Neon Lights roster out for a little Q & A session. We’ve got Flight Facilities, Mogawai, Kiasmos, Rachael Yamagata and Gengahr for a good mix.

But of course us being us, you know we are definitely going to shake things up big time. Equipped with the vocabulary set of a pre-schooler, the artists had to answer to our interview questions with nothing but small flashcards, printed with various random words, laid out on the table. Talk about choosing your words wisely.

If aren’t convinced just yet, we had a good laugh over a few unexpected moments which include, the time Kiasmos spotted a “nude sexy model having a stroke” while playing at a festival, the many ways to impress the Flight Facilities boys with a six-pack of booze and Mogwai describing themselves as 'sex symbols'.
