Ice Cream Sundays is marking a major milestone this year, and it's doing so with one of its most ambitious events yet.
The beloved Singapore party collective will celebrate a decade of day-to-night dancefloor culture on 25 July with ICS Presents: Field Trip, a special anniversary edition that transforms a grassy field along Science Park Road into a one-day outdoor gathering headlined by Melbourne favourites Wax'o Paradiso.
Part of the collective's ongoing 10 Years of ICS series, the event reflects how Ice Cream Sundays has continually reimagined what an independent party can look like since its inception. Over the years, the crew has become known for turning unconventional outdoor spaces into immersive dance experiences, pairing eclectic music programming with elaborate DIY staging, visual installations, and a strong sense of community.

Field Trip pushes that ethos even further.
For the first time, Ice Cream Sundays will take place in a lush green field opposite Teletech Park, offering a setting unlike any previous ICS event. Running from 1 PM to 10:30 PM, the gathering will also introduce an earlier daytime start, family-friendly programming, chill-out spaces, and activities designed to encourage attendees to linger long before the dancefloor reaches full swing.
Throughout the day, guests can participate in a variety of workshops and experiences, including a portrait train by HAFI, a botanical headpiece workshop led by Bryan Kang, a silk-screen merchandise station by moqsuito, and an ambient movement and meditation session hosted by The Weatherman. Santai will also curate a dedicated chillout corner, while games and art activities will be available for children. The event is set to be dog-friendly as well.

"We're extremely excited to be adding more dimensions to the ICS experience, and in such a beautifully green and spacious venue," said Ice Cream Sundays co-founder Daniel O'Connor. "It's the perfect canvas to deliver a festival-like experience that is more inclusive to families and offers more ways to enjoy the daytime hours, while retaining the joyful party energy that people come to ICS for."
Leading the soundtrack for the anniversary celebration is Wax'o Paradiso, the Australian DJ duo comprising Simon TK and Edd Fisher. The booking carries particular significance for the ICS team, who cite Wax'o Paradiso's celebrated Melbourne event series as one of the inspirations behind Ice Cream Sundays when it first launched ten years ago.
Over the last decade, Wax'o Paradiso has built a devoted following through marathon DJ sets, carefully curated events, and a musical philosophy that blends soulful disco, cosmic psychedelia, rare groove, and deep dancefloor selections. Their appearance at Field Trip marks what the organisers describe as a "full-circle moment" for the collective.

Joining them on the lineup is Revision Music's Halia, who will be making her Ice Cream Sundays debut, alongside resident selectors Bongomann, Muto, and Toppings.
Food and drinks will be available throughout the day via food trucks and pop-up bars, with offerings including Asahi Nama Jokki and a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
