WayV have returned with their eighth mini album, Vision Wings. The seven-track project explores the values and aspirations that continue to propel the group forward. The record also includes Chinese and English versions of its title track, '鸢 (Vision Wings)'.
Drawing inspiration from Chinese words that share the same pronunciation but carry different meanings, Vision Wings brings its songs together to tell a wider story about ambition and moving forward.
At the centre of the record is '鸢 (Vision Wings)', a hip-hop performance track that pairs traditional Chinese musical elements with modern production. The sound of the guzheng meets jungle beats as WayV use the image of a bird flying through a storm to represent self-belief and the determination to push beyond their limits.
The accompanying music video takes that imagery to a Shaolin temple, where the members appear as warriors amid cinematic visuals and martial arts-inspired choreography.
Following the release, WayV are set to embark on their third concert tour. 2026 WayV CONCERT TOUR [BORN THIS Way] IN SEOUL will kick off on 12 and 13 September at KBS Arena in Seoul before continuing across Asia. More cities and dates are expected to be announced.
