WeiBird extends partnership with Sony Music Entertainment Taiwan

Taiwanese folk-rock artist WeiBird and Sony Music Entertainment (SME) Taiwan have extended their partnership.

Announced on 13 May, the move will see SME Taiwan support WeiBird as he continues to strengthen his presence in the Chinese music industry as well as extend his reach beyond it.

“Extending my partnership with SME Taiwan feels like the perfect next step to unleash my creative potential. Their commitment to fostering artistic growth aligns perfectly with my vision, and their global network creates an incredible platform to share my music with a wider audience. I'm excited to collaborate with this talented team and explore new artistic possibilities together," the Golden Melody Award-winning singer-songwriter said.

Aside from strengthening its partnership with the 'Red Scarf' singer, SME Taiwan has added Mandopop star Cyndi Wang to its artist roster, which also includes Kumachan, Julia Peng, J.Sheon, Vivian Hsu. The Taiwanese singer and actress had previously released her album BITE BACK via the label.
