Fans of rookie K-pop girl group UNCHILD are calling on HIGH UP Entertainment for answers following weeks of uncertainty surrounding the group’s activities and future.
The six-member act debuted earlier this year and includes Na Haeun, who was already known among K-pop fans as a child dancer before joining the group.
Concern surrounding UNCHILD grew after the group’s planned comeback was postponed indefinitely. With few subsequent updates, fans began rallying around the hashtag #WhereIsUNCHILD, asking HIGH UP Entertainment to clarify the members’ status and the group’s future.

The situation drew further attention on 21 September, when an anonymous message posted on Korean platform Spin and subsequently shared on X claimed to have been written by someone working in the entertainment industry.
The anonymous post alleged that an investor had withdrawn funding from HIGH UP Entertainment following a negative reaction to UNCHILD’s upcoming material. It further claimed that the company was experiencing financial difficulties, had laid off staff, and was no longer able to properly manage the group.
The writer also suggested that UNCHILD could be preparing to disband.
None of these claims have been independently verified, and HIGH UP Entertainment has not announced UNCHILD’s disbandment.
The X post sharing the allegations had amassed more than 1.9 million views. With speculation continuing to circulate online, fans are calling for an official statement from HIGH UP Entertainment addressing UNCHILD’s current status and future activities.
