While She Sleeps Will Finally Perform in Singapore

ESTIMATED

So if you metalcore heads haven't heard, our beloved Sheffield quintet While She Sleeps have not only released their second album Brainwashed in March this year, but are coming to Singapore as part of their new album tour! While we're all super excited for the gig, there's absolutely no way to know the details of it yet so we'll have to wait and see.

Alright we're kidding, don't kill us. Mark your calendars, get excited and plan away!

WHILE SHE SLEEPS LIVE IN SINGAPORE

For what's to be their first time performing in Singapore, While She Sleeps will be performing 6pm on 13th September at Neverland II, St James Power Station, thanks to Inokii. Since their EP demo The North Stands For Nothing was unleashed in 2010, the band has opened several times for fellow British metalcore greats Bring Me The Horizon, played alongside acts like New Found Glory, Bury Tomorrow and The Blackout, and performed on big stages like Download Festival UK and Australia's Soundwave Festival. Now of course, we're stoked that they'll be finally gracing the Singapore stage in their long-awaited local debut.

The Kerrang! Best British Newcomer Award 2012 winners offer rousing and emotive anthems powered by heartfelt screaming vocals over their trademark heavy instrumentation. While normally distorted and fast-paced, their sound features a distinct melodic quality with even the occasional tuneful chorus and piano interlude. Beyond the epic metalcore vigour and technicality in their music, there's an underlying layer of emotional sensitivity and intimacy that shines through in their passionately intense live shows.

Get ready to sing/scream your heart out on 13th September! Tickets are now out at $55 for early birds.

UPDATE: The band has released the official tour poster, including dates in Thailand, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
