Popstar Ariana Grande and renowned musical theatre actress Cynthia Ervio are currently traveling around the globe to promote the forthcoming film Wicked, based the acclaimed stage production of the same name.
As part of their promotional tour, the two leading ladies chatted with television host Lyn Ching on popular GMA Network new show 24 Oras.

During the interview, Ariana candidly declared that “Filipinos are the best singers in the world.” Her Tony Award-winning co-star agreed wholehearted by chiming in, "“Yes. No, they do.”
Grande then said, "Honestly, they have the best voices, too.”
To prove their point, Ching went on to play a clip of a group of Filipinos who submitted a video tribute performance of Wicked’s standout and extremely technical ballad 'Defying Gravity'.
After the video ended, both stars were visibly impressed, referring to the to the performance as “amazing” and “beautiful.” Ariana concluded by saying, “Those harmonies at the end. That was stunning.”
