WINNER's Kang Seungyoon returns with 'Born To Love You' — watch

WINNER’s vocal stronghold Kang Seungyoon returns with ‘Born To Love You’! 

Leader of the winning boy band of the 2013 YG Entertainment competition WIN: Who Is Next had unveiled teasers for his solo comeback on 2nd March, raising fans’ expectations higher after announcing the involvement of TREASURE’s Bang Yedam on his title track. 

Rookie idol Yedam is also the composer and lyricist of the trending TikTok song ‘DARARI (다라리)’ that has over 3 million individuals, including labelmates SOMI and HOONY, dancing along to the viral fan-made choreography. WINNER’s maknae Seungyoon guaranteed a similar quality for his new release saying that the track would be an emotional R&B ballad that’s coupled with YG’s unique trendiness. 

The ‘Born To Love You’ music video features Seungyoon reminiscing a past relationship and repenting his treatment towards an ex-lover. With its strong motifs of water in the form of rain and floods, the visuals paired with the sentimental and sincere lyrics of the song showcased the perfect metaphor for drowning in one's regrets. 

This comeback gears InCles (WINNER fans) up for the OT4 concert in Seoul happening on the 30th of April and 1st of May for the first time since members Jinu and HOONY’s enlistment in 2020.
