Ever since their inception in 2013, Singapore-based outfit Wobology have consistently been one of the most fun, charismatic and intriguing live bands in Singapore. Ideal for feel-good gatherings ranging from block parties to outdoor festivals, their unique blend of genres and beautiful brand of cosmic energy is effortlessly infectious.

Made up of Richard Meade and Rupak George, alongside renowned Singaporean poet Deborah Emmanuel, the band's sound is a fascinating mix of influences ranging from dub and reggae to drum & bass and psytrance. It isn't exactly easy to peg, but we suppose that doesn't entirely matter when the end result is a bunch of bouncy feet and smiley faces.

Wobology recently launched their long-gestating debut record at kult kafe to a fully-packed audience, and by all accounts, the material was warmly received by fans and casuals alike. But if you couldn't make it down to the show, no worries, the band has made their EP, entitled The Study of Vibration, available online!

The five-track effort is rootsy and resonant, and certainly worth your time. It's available for purchase via Bandcamp at the moment, but will also be released via iTunes and Spotify very soon.
