WOLF HOWL HARMONY from EXILE TRIBE expands their artistry even further as their single 'Koko ni Iru' joins the soundtrack of the anime Iwamoto-senpai no Suisen as the uplifting ending theme.
The song channels the core themes of the series as it displays an emotional depth through the layered lyricism and textured sonic arrangements to build a musical narrative. Produced by Taku Takahashi of m-flo, it explores the pressures of constant comparison and the uncertainty of finding the "right answer," offering listeners a warm sense of reassurance through thoughtful lyrics.
RYOJI sheds more light on what the track means to the group as he shares, "I’m truly honored and excited that we’ve been given the opportunity to perform the ending theme for Iwamoto-senpai no Suisen. This is also the first time our music has been featured in an anime series, which makes it an especially meaningful experience for us.”

The track harnesses the power of affirmation, with the phrase "I am here now" being the very heart of it. It acknowledges the importance of being present even in the face of adversity and having the strength to forge ahead despite the uncertainty of the future.
Taku Takahashi explains his songwriting process saying, "'Koko ni Iru' is a ballad for those who continue trying to move forward despite feeling uncertain about their own choices and decisions. To convey the flow of emotions naturally, we focused on leaving space while arranging both the sound and the vocals. WOLF HOWL HARMONY's straightforward expressiveness and delicate emotional expression give this song a special sense of persuasiveness."
The accompanying music video to the track encapsulates the musical message of the song, while staying true to visuals that shine in the anime. Directed by YERD, the backdrop of the video emulates the classic western-inspired architecture in a traditional Japanese house that's showcased in Iwamoto-senpai no Suisen. The cinematic cuts and contrast between the positioning of the members emphasises the wistful weight of solitude.
Further strengthening the anime collaboration, fellow LDH JAPAN group THE JET BOY BANGERZ from EXILE TRIBE will contribute their new single 'BUDDING' as the opening theme for Iwamoto-senpai no Suisen.
With 'Koko ni Iru', WOLF HOWL HARMONY from EXILE TRIBE continue to showcase their emotional depth, delivering a heartfelt anthem that perfectly complements the world of Iwamoto-senpai no Suisen. As the group's first-ever anime theme song, the release marks a meaningful milestone in their journey while reaffirming their ability to transform life's quiet uncertainties into music that resonates long after the final note.
