Yellowcard has dropped a reimagined version of their track 'Bedroom Posters' that's part of the awesome tracklist of their 2025 record Better Days. This featured version of the track sees the rock legends collaborate with pop punk and rock icons Good Charlotte.
The band expresses that 'Bedroom Posters' is a track that's meant to trigger nostalgia, leading listeners to wistfully look back on simpler times when life was just going out and having fun and laying in bed staring at the posters on the bedroom walls. Featuring Good Charlotte on the track only helps to turn up the dial on the nostalgia with their unmistakable 2000s style.
Lead vocalist Ryan Key shares, "We all felt like 'Bedroom Posters' was a really special song when we were making the record. The power behind Joel’s vocals takes it to an even more impactful place that can truly take you back to the bedroom where you fell in love with your favourite band for the first time.”
The music video visually translates the message of the song as it features the band alongside Good Charlotte lead vocalist Joel Madden, playing the track in a bedroom that begins completely bare but gets filled up with posters, tapestries, and trinkets with each shred of the guitar.
It reflects how time shapes the person who spent hours listening to their favourite songs and putting up those awesome posters in that bedroom. The room goes through different stages of evolution, symbolising the different changes each person goes through before they eventually have to leave the room behind and "tear down their bedroom posters".
