You Me At Six are breaking up.

Today (1/2), the English rock band broke the news on their social media platforms about their disbandment after wrapping up their farewell tour in 2025. In an Instagram post, the band wrote: “2005-2025. This is the end. Thank you for being the heartbeat of this band. Final live shows taking place 2024/2025.”

The quintet has since released a new video set in a graveyard, reminiscing about their live shows as they walk past tombstones engraved with the names and release dates of their albums over the years. As they burn an ‘IV’ logo covered in flowers at the end, the band’s lead vocalist, John Franceschi, shared a few concluding words: “Its time. It's time for the finish line. It's time for goodbye. So for the last time, one more time, It’s time.”

Comprising band members Josh Franceschi (vocals), Matthew James Barnes (bass), Daniel David Flint (drums), Christopher James Miller (guitar), and Max Michael Helyer (guitar), formed in 2005 and have put up a slew of notable releases including ‘Take on the World’, and ‘Underdog’. Last July, the ‘Bite My Tongue’ act brought their Truth Decay Tour to Singapore’s *SCAPE The Ground Theatre and SM Skydome in the Philippines.
