LEGACY MUSIC FESTIVAL

This December, Legacy will make its debut with a massive line-up that will feature the likes of ZEDD, Tiesto, Don Diablo, Cosmic Gate, Sub Zero Project, Hyo and more.

IU

When: 6 & 7 December
Where: The Star Theatre

IU will be returning to Singapore for her Love, Poem tour in December, during which she will perform not one, but two shows. An esteemed singer with six studio albums and nine EPs, IU's music has been well-received in the K-pop industry for a decade.

The Alex Blake Charlie Sessions

When: 7 December
Where: Pasir Panjang Power Station

The Alex Blake Charlie Sessions is a new female-fronted indie music festival that will take place for the first time in Singapore at the Pasir Panjang Power Station. The festival's line-up currently features the likes of Cate Le Bon, Charly Bliss, Kero Kero Bonito, Goat Girl, Ladies of LCD Soundsystem, Soak, Vandetta, Ginette Chittick and many more.

CHROMEO

When: 7 December
Where: Monti

Formed in 2002 by musicians David "Dave 1" Macklovitch and Patrick "P-Thugg" Gemayel, the duo's sound draws from blue-eyed soul, dance music, rock, synth-pop, disco and funk. The band has released five studio albums. Their fifth album, Head Over Heels, was released on June 15, 2018.

OPETH (SOLD OUT)

When: 8 December
Where: The Crossroads

Swedish progressive metal giant Opeth is set to return to Singapore, this time performing a more intimate set at the now sold out Crossroads. Expect to hear the band's biggest hits, as well as new tunes from its latest album, In Cauda Venenum

BOYZ II MEN

When: 9 December
Where: Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre

Known for its emotional ballads and immaculate a cappella harmonies, Boyz II Men has earned major critical acclaim as a multi-platinum group in music history, with four Grammy awards and three Billboard awards under its belt. Having sold over 64 million albums worldwide over the past two decades, some of the trio's biggest hits include 'End of the Road', 'On Bended Knee', and 'One Sweet Day', the longest-running No.1 song for 16 weeks in Billboard history.

PAUL GILBERT

When: 10 December
Where: The Substation

Guitar virtuoso Paul Gilbert, best known to the masses as a founding member and lead guitarist of iconic rock band Mr. Big, is coming to Singapore for a solo concert. After a lengthy career in music, which includes multiple awards, and being voted as one of the Top 10 Greatest Guitar Shredders of All Time, Gilbert will perform in Singapore, as a solo artist, for the first time ever this December.

ED BANGER TAKEOVER

When: 12 December
Where: Zouk Singapore

Recognised for its famous blend of house, electronic, hip hop, disco, and funk sounds everywhere in the world, Ed Banger’s reputation and reach worldwide has reached massive heights. Now, the label has its sights set on Singapore, where it will host its next takeover at Zouk Singapore.

SKRILLEX

Where: Marquee Singapore

One of the biggest names in dance music will return to Singapore this December for a special performance at Marquee. Skrillex's bass-heavy dubstep combined with the frights of Friday, the 13th, should result in an interesting night for dance music fans.

ITZY

When: 13 December
Where: Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre

K-pop girl group ITZY, under the JYP roster, will be arriving in Singapore for their debut showcase tour this December.

ERIC CHOU

When: 14 December
Where: Singapore Indoor Stadium

The Mandopop singer-songwriter previously played in Singapore on his 22PLUS 2018 Asia Tour in June last year. Following three sold-out shows in Taipei and Kaohsiung, the How Have You Been 2019 Asia Tour will see Chou performing hits such as 'Let’s Not Be Friends In The Future', 'How Have You Been' and 'The Chaos After You'.

YUNG BAE

Los Angeles-based producer Yung Bae (real name Dallas Cotton) who has been making waves in Asia with his funky, sample-heavy disco tapes and catchy remixes, will be performing a one-night-only set at Kilo Lounge on 14 December.

Singer, songwriter, cellist, and producer Kelsey Lu constructs her dreamy alternative music with a mix of classical chamber and folk influences, topping off her intricate arrangements with her soulful vocals.

SSO presents: The Music of Star Wars

When: 19 & 20 December 
Where: Esplanade Concert Hall

This December, the Singapore Symphony Orchestra will pay tribute to John Williams' masterpieces, with conductor Christopher Dragon at the helm. Expect to hear compositions like 'Main Title', 'Yoda's Theme', 'The Imperial March (Darth Vader's Theme)', 'Duel of the Fates' and more live.

Last year, the home-grown singer held four sold-out shows at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in August 2018 during the run of his Sanctuary World Tour. Now, JJ Lin will return to Singapore to take on two back-to-back shows at the massive National Stadium.

Hong Kong singer-actor Ekin Cheng will be holding his first full-fledged concert in Singapore in December. He released his debut album Don’t Cry in 1991 and gained wider acclaim with his single 'Only Love You in a Lifetime' off his third album On Stage. His most well-known tracks include 'Age of Friendship' and 'Willing to Replace You'.
