Singer-songwriter Alex Aiono started his young career by posting covers on his YouTube channel. In 2013, he started writing and performing his own orginal songs, which got the attention of other musicians, and he was soon given the opportunity to open for teenage pop act R5's US-Canada tour. Days after the tour, Alex released "Young & Foolish", a track co-written by r&b star, John Legend. He has continued to update his YouTube channel with new covers and mash-ups, and now has over 4 million subscribers.

The 20-year old is set to bring his music to Asia as he has been announced to perform at this year's Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival - an annual hot air balloon festival which also features performances by international and local musicians. The festival takes place from April 6 to 9 at Lubao, Pampanga. Alex is the first international act to be revealed on the line up. Redfoo (1/2 of LMFAO) is scheduled to co-headline the closing concert of the festival on Sunday.

Local acts Sponge Cola, BP Valenzuela, Dante & Amigo, Marc Naval, Brisom, Gloc - 9, Parokya ni Edgar, Yeng Constantino, The Zombettes, Moonstar 88, and Bamboo are also set to perform.
