ZEROBASEONE are ready to light up the court — and the charts — with their explosive new pre-release single, ‘SLAM DUNK’, out now ahead of their first full-length album, NEVER SAY NEVER.
Following the massive success of their fifth mini album, BLUE PARADISE, which earned them a historic No. 28 debut on the Billboard 200 (the highest ever for a fifth-gen K-pop act), the nine-piece are shifting gears into game mode with a bold new concept and sound.
An adrenaline-pumping fusion of EDM and hip-hop, ‘SLAM DUNK’ layers ZEROBASEONE’s signature vocals with the sounds of basketball — from the bounce of a ball to the squeak of sneakers — immersing fans in a high-stakes sonic showdown.
On the visual front, the group channels sports anime energy with dynamic poster visuals of the members in basketball uniforms, paired with the declaration: “IT AIN’T OVER TILL IT’S OVER.”
The track is a taste of what’s to come on NEVER SAY NEVER, which drops 1 September at 6 PM KST. U.S. fans can grab physical versions from 5 September, including ICON Version photobooks and Digipack editions, available via Target, Barnes & Noble, KPOP NARA, and Amazon.
