ZoukOut officially announces hiatus

ZoukOut, Singapore’s mainstay dance music festival by the beach, will be taking a well-deserved break this year.

After 18 consecutive years of world class festivals, ZoukOut will not be returning this December, as it focuses its efforts on growing alongside the ever-changing festival industry. This, however, doesn’t rule out a future return. While ZoukOut takes a sabbatical, the Zouk Group will double down on efforts to provide music lovers with the best nightlife experience possible, as it sets its sights on global expansion, with an imminent venture into Las Vegas.

This year, Zouk has further ventured into the F&B industry, with the launch of FUHU Restaurant & Bar alongside Resorts World Genting. The Zouk Group is also bringing popular American burger joint, Five Guys, to Singapore later this year.

“ZoukOut will be taking a break this year as we continue to seek opportunities to bring the festival back to our shores. As the festival climate evolves, we have to also progress alongside it. We want to reassure our supporters however, that ZoukOut remains close to our hearts, and we will strive to keep our legacy going. While we work on future plans, we are committed to staying true to the Zouk spirit. We will continue to provide our guests with the best possible experience at our club,” says Andrew Li, CEO of Zouk Group
