Biography

Cambridge are a 5 piece Pop Punk band from Sydney, Australia. Since forming in early 2013, they’ve fast become one of the catchiest bands on offer with their first single ‘Catalina Wine Mixer’ and their cover of Taylor Swifts ‘22' amassing thousands of views within hours of being put online. Taking influences from bands such as Cartel and Mayday Parade, Cambridge combine catchy hooks with pop melodies that will be stuck in your head for days. Despite their appearance as a ‘new’ band, Cambridge have years of experience between them with front man Brad Smith (ex Heroes For Hire) having previously toured with the likes of Yellowcard, Mayday Parade and on Australia’s renowned Soundwave Festival. Having just released their debut album this year with producer Matt Malpass (Lydia, Train, Cute is what we aim for), the future is very bright for Cambridge and as the band continues to announce tour plans, it’s only a matter of time before the rest of the world catches on.
