Biography

One of Singapore’s most eclectic music tastemakers, DeeJay XG started his career as an emcee/rapper in the early 2000s. When Hip Hop music shifted from raw sounds to up-tempo beats, the former MC Garuda took to the stage with international artists such as the Black Eyed Peas, Jin Tha MC and Masia One. A hiatus gave him the time needed to master the art of mixing records and come up with a new name – DeeJay XG. He now boasts sound selections from the likes of UK Garage, Modern Dance Hall, Trap, Hip Hop, Boogie Funk and Disco.
