Biography

Farryl Purkiss is a South African singer-songwriter based in Cape Town. Purkiss first picked up the guitar when he was fifteen years old and began writing songs shortly after his sixteenth birthday. He released a self-financed EP in 2004 and was signed to 2Feet Music shortly afterwards. His debut album was released in 2007 to high acclaim and has since spent most of his time touring the world with over 130 gigs in 2007 .
