Biography

Haiqel "Kirk" Hamdan has been playing the guitar since he was about 12, and has been in numerous bands that specialized in various genres. The experience that he has acquired over the years enables him to be versatile, thus allowing him to be able to improvise songs to make them "his own". He is currently the lead guitarist in his band "SkySix", and they are active in performing at gigs around Singapore. Marsha Hope Shinozaki comes from an influence of rock and pop music since young, and has always loved listening to music. Starting out young, she used to sing on stage at Europa in exchange for fries and ice cream, but she has always had an interest in performing in front of live audiences professionally. Currently she sings back-up and is the female vocalist for SkySix band. She is good at building strong rapports with people around her, and people really respond to her bubbly character. After getting to know Kirk for many years and learning more about his musical background as a skillful guitar player, she was very interested in starting an acoustic set with him. Marsha Hope Shinozaki comes from an influence of rock and pop music since young, and has always loved listening to music. She started off singing karaoke for fun, but always had an interest in performing in front of live audiences. Good at building strong rapport with the audience, people really respond to her bubbly character. After meeting Kirk, they decided to work on something together and are now known simply as Kirk & Marsha.
