Biography

Run Like Lions is an emerging Filipino alternative act from Manila, composed of Miki Boado (vocals/guitars), Junell Cillo (guitars), Jasel Quillano (bass), and Chiko Polido (drums). Four musicians who roared their way into the scene with raw teenage angst, the band started as a post-hardcore group in 2013. This previous chapter stands as one of the pillars of their overall musicality. In 2019, along with several line-up changes, the group shifted their focus towards a brighter sound, aiming to spark an emotional experience in their audiences through unforgettable tunes and candid lyrics that are sure to give you all the feels. Their signature sound today is a coalescence of other musical influences, such as pop-punk, post-rock, and indie rock. The brand new single 'Puso't Isip' is out now!
