Biography

One of the winners of the Noise Singapore Award 2016, SUPERSECT is a rock band formed in 2014 by a group of friends that enjoy doing things together; and playing in a rock band happens to be one of those things. Because of each member's unique musical vocabulary, the band feels like a “Super Group”. Thus the name SUPERSECT was derived from a wordplay on Chinese words “超级派”. SUPERSECT has performed at Baybeats, Gastrobeats, SCAPE Invasion, SCAPE Confessions, and have supported fellow acts like KOJI, Knightingale, and Glassmouth. They have released a couple of demo recordings like "RLSZ", "BCDE", and a song that's finally not four lettered, Genocide Extermination. The band has shot a live music video at the Singapore Chinese Opera Museum (SCOM) and are currently working on their debut album.
