Biography

One of the freshest new acts in the West, The Amani Consort were formed by club veteran MC Amani to launch her into a new organic soul/hip-hop direction. With Perth music scene fixtures Alex Borthwick, James Claringbold, Gordon Cant and Bronton Ainsworth they have hit the scene in 2012. With a focus on moving feet and expanding minds The Amani Consort are creating a new progressive funk sound while building their reputation as one of Perth's best up-and-coming urban soul acts.
