Adrian Oropeza Trio was born in 2006, because of the music and its necessities to express an own language inside the jazz and its different environments. The conformation of this group is doublebass, piano and drums, instruments with an extraordinary sonorous wealth which are an important part of the jazz tradition.
To conserve this music and its capacity to be incluyent, free and plural, the Adrian Oropeza Trio gets inside the language of the contemporary music with original compositions which goes since the balad, shuffle, be bop and hard bop. Adrian Oropeza Trio incorporates to its repertoire pieces of the rich and vast Mexican and Latin American culture, that when fusioning with the modern harmony and improvisation obtains a fresh and original color and sound.
A concert of Adrian Oropeza Trio offers an unique auditory experience. They combine the sounds of the traditional and contemporary jazz with the colors and rhythms of our beautiful mexican roots as the huapango and the son.
