Untold features a set of Alicia’s original songs which she has been compiling for years and has finally decided to share publicly for the first time. Alicia’s message to the public has always focused on strength and now she is challenging you to face your fears and rejections, and embrace your imperfections. Embark on a journey of self-discovery, enlightenment and realisation with Alicia and her two good friends and fellow musicians, Clifford and Simon, as they encourage you to take comfort in the fact that you are never alone wherever you are because somewhere in the background, someone understands you. This chilled out acoustic trio hopes that you will embrace the Untold and accept that it is perfectly fine to be who you are.
Starting piano at the age of 3, Alicia has never given up music since. Growing up with ABBA, Guns n Roses and Toto, she has played and sang her way through LASALLE College of the Arts, where she graduated with a BA (Hons) in Popular Music in 2012. She performs regularly with her music partner Amos Tadate as the acoustic duo Insight and is also the current co-lead vocalist/co-keyboardist for Switch@Timbre bilingual band Groundzero. A prolific songwriter, Alicia has composed, performed and arranged songs for the past 2 years. No stranger to the Esplanade, Alicia has performed many of her original works with her trusty band mates, who are also dear friends of hers. She will be recording her EP in the last quarter of 2013.
