Japanese band amazarashi and singer-songwriter Aimer will be in Singapore this March as part of their “amazarashi x Aimer Asia Tour 2018.” The Asia Tour 2018 will cover Shanghai, Taiwan and Singapore with a total of 4 shows.
amazarashi is a band led by Hiromu Akita from Aomori. A proponent of anti-nihilism, amazarashi seeks out hope from despair through its incisive lyrics and unique live performances. When performing live, they have a unique style where they play behind a screen that covers the whole stage and project various images to go along with the music.
After temporarily losing her voice when she was 15, Aimer continued singing and has been attracting attention with her sweet, unique husky voice. Starting her career under indies label, Aimer then had her major debut back in 2011. Her album "daydream", which was released in September 2016, received runner-up prize for The 9th CD Shop Awards 2017.
No strangers to performing in various Asian countries, be sure to look forward to the unique sounds of amazarashi and Aimer.
