boxchild EP Release Show

Noise Music Mentees and NAC Grant recipients, boxchild, are set to unleash an emotional sonic boom at their debut EP Release Show at Aliwal Arts Centre, 3rd September 2016. 
boxchild will be joined by supporting acts Forests and Sangriento with house music provided by DJ EKO.

The 4-track EP is a collaboration between Singaporean producer Phoon Zi Xiang (arson, Fader, Isles) of Typhoon Studios and Japanese producer Hiroyuki Kawahara of Studio Certes (Survive! Said The Prophet, Alternative Medicine).
Achieving numerous feats, such as reaching Round 2 of the Baybeats 2016 auditions and the Finals of IGNITE! Band Auditions 2015, since their inception in 2013, the post-hardcore quartet are intent on achieving the first milestone of their musical journey.
Mentored by Daniel Sassoon of In Each Hand a Cutlass and Electrico repute, boxchild is poised to deliver their refined repertoire of "in-your-face, riff-driven heavy alternative rock with powerful melodic vocals" with uncompromising sincerity.
