To say that 2017 was a whirlwind of a year in Bryan Chua’s life would be an understatement. The 22-year-old Singapore singer-songwriter brought his music into the spotlight with the release of three singles, centred and aligned with the theme of mental health. Always the purveyor of honest music that comes straight from the heart, Chua holds his own alongside his trusty loop pedal; a trait that has become a signature part of his act and that has led him to feature as a solo act on stages such as Esplanade, National Gallery Singapore as well as the opening act for CITY65 Music Festival 2017. To date, Chua has also been featured in publications such as The New Paper and Bandwagon Asia. A familiar face in the Singapore open mic scene as well as a sought-after musician for community events, Chua hopes to continue to spread his message of hope, unity and love through his music from his new surroundings in London.
