Simon Yong is a Singapore guitarist and songwriter who performs with progressive rock band Zero Sequence and Shirlyn & The UnXpected. Since he released his debut solo instrumental album Alien Stole My Whiskey in 2013, he and his band, The Simon Yong Band, have performed at Mosaic Music Festival, a sold-out show at BluJaz Cafe, opened for The Iron Maidens, toured Kuala Lumpur, as well as headlined shows in Tokyo and Osaka. As an ESP Guitars and Audio-Technica artiste, his music has also been played on several Japanese radio stations.
This evening, Simon presents tunes from his debut album as well as a few new songs from his upcoming sophomore release.
