Singapore’s youngest hip-hop collective, Grizzle Grind Crew (GGC) turns ONE this month. To celebrate this occasion, the Crew will be putting together an anniversary show on Saturday 29 March 2014. The boys will be performing songs from the upcoming GGC debut mixtape Leaders Of The New Skool which will be exclusively streamed via Spotify from Monday 31 March. The album will be released as a free download in the 2nd week of April. Crew members will be performing their previous hits and tunes from their upcoming individual albums.
As with our debut show in 2013, we are inviting our friends: veteran rapper Sheikh Heikel, Singapore’s premier B-Boy crew Radikal Forze and indie folk-pop act The Sam Willows to join in the fun! Expect many music guests popping in to do impromptu spots.
Last March 2013 saw the Crew entertaining more than 3,000 guests at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre. The show solidified our position as a Hip-Hop crew to be reckoned with. This year, Grizzle Grind Crew is stepping up our mission statement to promote Hip-Hop culture to the youth with a truckload of new content.
