Led by violinist Rei Tan and flautist Clement Chan, Improvfunsation is made up of classically-trained students from music elective programmes of various schools who seek to explore new and diverse music experiences through improvisation and experimentation with alternative music genres. Coached by soloists from TO ensemble—namely pianist Tze Toh, violinist Christina Zhou and saxophonist Teo Boon Chye—this young ensemble performs their exciting improvisations, arrangements and original music by Tze.
