Nanyang Technological University Symphonic Band

Nanyang Technological University Symphonic Band (NTUSB) performs familiar tunes such as Dancing Queen and Sing, Sing, Sing, in tribute to the popular music pioneers who created such evergreens.

Established in 1985, the band has toured and participated in music exchanges and competitions around Asia, most recently in Tokyo (2013) and Wuhan/Hangzhou (2015). Under the guidance of Resident Conductor, Mr Takehiro Oura, the band took part in SIBF ‘14 (1st Division), clinching the Gold Award; and the SIBF ’16 (Open Division), clinching the Silver Award.
