ODDISEE - live in Singapore

Despite his earlier collaborations with reputable artists the likes of Freeway, Jazzy Jeff, Eric Lau, Homeboy Sandman and Joey Badass, it was only in 2010 that his own personal work took off; “The Travelling Man” on Mello Music Group lauded him as a producer ahead of his time. Fast forward five years and six albums later to present day, Oddisee’s “The Good Fight” is a culmination of his distinct brand of conscious, left of centre and poetic story telling, backed by smooth rhythm and harmonies. "Straight out of the States’ capitol, rapper/producer/singer Oddisee served up something in early May that can safely be described as timeless hip-hop. From the psychedelic jazz of album opener “That’s Love,” to the reverb drenched guitar jam “First Choice,” and right through to the album’s superbly skittish finisher “Worse Before Better” – the entire album is a confident foray into territory familiar to anyone who owns or has listened to a copy of Guru’s Jazzmatazz, or a welcome surprise to anyone unaware that Washington D.C. has a hip-hop scene to speak of." - Highsnobriety, The 18 Best Hip-Hop Albums of 2015 so far. Oddisee is performing live in Singapore at Kilo Lounge on 18th November, and will featuring supporting local acts, producer Fauxe, rap trio Mediocre Haircut Crew, and RAH from Darker Than Wax.
