Oneness through Music

Drawing from the Sanskrit literature, Ekatva describes the concepts of oneness and unity fundamental to the drive behind the music of this four-piece band. As diverse as the backgrounds and origins of the four musicians, Ekatva’s music is an amalgamation of different styles of music that embraces the rich cultures of the East and West. With Somasundaram Shivanesh on mridangam and ghanjira, Anand Krishna on guitar, Swetha Baskaran on sitar, and Lalit Kumar Ganesh on tabla and cajon, Ekatva strives to promote the concepts of oneness and unity through its musical narrative.
