About Qu (JP):

Qu (pronounced “cue”) is a Japanese 5-piece instrumental rock band fronted by a human beat box. Formed in 2012 in Kobe, Japan, the quintet combine elements of hip hop, electronica, ambient, heavy rock, and emo to create a truly unique sound. They have performed more than 50 shows a year, including tours abroad. Their first full-length album was released in Japan on January 7th, 2015.

Formed in early 2005, the band only started playing shows a year later, showing their dedication in polishing their act and nailing down their sound before the big reveal. Key elements that represent the band are repeated destruction, disorderly performance, and avant-garde.
