Salsa Under The Stars (May - feat. Güpson Pierre)
Are you ready for some attitude? For our May edition, we have the privilege of bringing legendary dance maestro Güpson Pierre to SUTS!
Güpson will conduct a beginner - intermediate 60-minute Salsa LA-style workshop from 7:30 pm. Fee is $10 at the door, no prior registration needed.
DJ Kyle is back again to guest DJ this month and will tag team with resident DJ May May for an awesome selection of Salsa, Cha Cha, Bachata, Reggaeton and Kizomba.
Free-entry (after the workshop) and fuss-free! Happy Hour all night! All levels, ages and styles welcome. No partner required. No politics, no drama - just fun!
Amazing vegetarian street food by Banyan Tamarind food. Think falafels, soursop tacos and other treats!

Salsa Under The Stars is a monthly indoor/outdoor Latin dance and musical experience at SG’s hottest arts and entertainment venue - Kult Kafe on enchanting Emily Hill.
ABOUT GUPSON
Hailing from Montreal, Güpson is one the pioneers in the Singapore Salsa scene and founder of Attitude Dance Studio.
Güpson has been teaching Salsa in Singapore and Malaysia for the last 17 years, and is the first Salsa instructor based in Asia to be honored at the West Coast Salsa Congress in L.A (2008), and teaching at the New York Salsa Congress since 2008. He has also been credited to have introduced Cross Body Style, Salsa On1 and On2 as well as Bachata, Casino Rueda, Exotic Dance (Burlesque), and Kizomba in Singapore.
Güpson continues to perform and teach Salsa extensively in Asia and around the world.
ABOUT DJ KYLE
No stranger to the Singapore salsa scene and a great dancer himself, Kyle has played for numerous Latin dance events including Afro Latin Fever, Alegria Dance Company social party, The Studio Furry Dance Weekend charity social, Baila Loco Feb 2017, JJ SalsaRengue 15th Anniversary Party, and JJ SalsaRengue Annual Dance Bash 2017. DJ Kyle goes heavy on the old-school salsa (clasica, dura, guaguanco) with a hint of salsa moderno/ funk.
