VIVIENNE'S VERDICT
Moving on from the release of their debut album "Depiction", Singapore based Metal-core/Hard Rock band Vivienne's Verdict is back with a brand new single, "Hurricane".
Vivienne's Verdict recently revealed the track and music video, which premiered on Bandwagon on 10th March 2017.
The highly anticipated single is the band's first release since the major line up change in 2016. After the departure of Dezimon and Kenneth, it was announced that Kurenai(vocals), Jasper (drums), and Fiq(guitar) will be joining the band.
Hurricane is now available for download on major stores.

SIMON YONG BAND
Simon Yong is a Singaporean guitarist, singer, songwriter, sessionist, and producer known for his work with progressive rock band Zero Sequence and most recently with his debut solo instrumental album “Alien Stole My Whiskey” (2013).
Having performed with American legendary drummer Dennis Chambers, Thailand’s guitar hero Jack Thammarat, and Japanese guitarist Takayoshi Ohmura (Babymetal), Simon has also thrilled thousands of audiences at the Singapore indoor and national stadiums, and many music festivals with his electrifying guitar solos over the last 20 years.
In his younger years, Simon has won two band competitions, and his music has been nominated for “Best Rock Song”, “Best Guitar Riff”, and “Best Genre Bending-Mindboggling-Out-Of-This-World-Track” in Malaysia's Voize.my's inaugural Independent Music Awards.
From national TV to numerous radio shows, the ESP Guitars and Audio-Technica endorsee has also performed in Malaysia, Japan, Australia, France, and USA. An influential figure in the music industry, this talented multi-instrumentalist who first started learning the organ at aged 4, is also a music educator, and has been conducting clinics and masterclasses for more than 10 years.

BANANA SUICIDE FOREST
Banana Suicide Forest is an upcoming 5-piece Progressive Metal band formed in Singapore by current students of the Singapore Polytechnic Diploma in Music and Audio Technology (DMAT) course. They currently consist of vocalist Josias Lim (18), Guitarists Dominic Yuan (19) and Michelle Quek (17), bassist Kwa Jia Xuan (19) and drummer Gavin Loo (18), having formed in 2016.
Their heaviest influences are drawn from modern progressive acts such as Animals as Leaders, Tesseract, Periphery, Plini, Monuments, Porcupine Tree, Skyharbor and Sithu Aye.
Banana Suicide Forest combines technical and melodic driven guitar riffs with syncopated basslines and drum parts. Heavy hard hitting guitar lines are also incorporated into several compositions. Josias’ soothing and calming vocal lines adds a unique contrast to blend the heaviness and melody to produce the sound of the band.
Banana Suicide Forest has performed in the Bi-annual DMAT Show Concert in 2016. They are currently participating in the 2017 Noise Mentorship Programme under the tutelage of Guitarist Simon Yong. Banana Suicide Forest has several upcoming gigs for the year featuring performances with Vienne’s Verdict and the Simon Yong Band, DMAT SHOW 2017 and the Noise Mentorship Final Showcase.
