Singaporean jazz composer Felix Phang will release his debut album on 10th February 2015 with a concert cum launch event at the Aliwal Centre for the Arts.
Made with the support of the National Arts Council, the album titled “Seeing Sounds” by Felix Phang & The Imaginary Forces is a collection of 9 original contemporary jazz tunes comprising 8 large jazz ensemble compositions and 1 solo piano bonus track. The works conjure imagery through the arrangements and reflect Felix’s roots in symphonic band music and later training in jazz composition.
