Honey blood, formed in 2012 in Glasgow, are Stina on guitar and vocals and Cat Myer on drums. Taking inspiration from dark and cloudy '90s indie rock luminaries like PJ Harvey, Sonic Youth, Lush and Throwing Muses, Honeyblood are a glorious combination of noise pop and indie rock.
The band's fiery second album, 'Babes Never Die', arrived in late 2016 with the title being literally close to Stina's her heart - ‘Babes Never Die’ is tattooed on her ribs!
Recorded by acclaimed producer James Dring (Jamie T and Gorillaz) they’ve managed to brilliantly capture the notorious live energy that has seen the band share stages all round the globe with everyone from Belle And Sebastian and Foo Fighters to close comrades like Courtney Barnett and Wolf Alice.
Honeyblood have been talked about as one of the most exciting new UK bands afound.
