Symphony in the Park: Stage And Screen

Look forward to some of the most familiar and iconic music from stage and screen, as part of NUS Symphony Orchestra’s Symphony in the Park outreach concert series!

Reminisce the golden age of Bond films with the James Bond Medley, in celebration of the legacy of Sir Roger Moore. Relive nostalgic memories of the Indiana Jones movies as we perform The Raiders March by John Williams. Look forward to highlights from the musical Les Miserables, and, for our younger audience members, join along in singing to the instantly identifiable tune of "Let it Go" as popularized by the hit film Frozen. In addition, the NUSSO will perform classical works such as Mozart's Symphony No. 25, Tchaikovsky's Marche Slave, and Czardas by Monti, featuring our very own violinist, Samantha Lee.

Bring your picnic baskets and come down to the picturesque Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage for an evening of wonderful music.

This concert is jointly conducted by NUSSO Music Director, Maestro Lim Soon Lee, as well as Assistant Conductor, Maestro Foo Say Ming.
