West Winds was formed in 1993 with the support of the People’s Association and Bukit Batok Community Club. The band was started with the vision to create a place where musicians in Singapore can gather for the love of band music and it has dedicated itself to bringing music to the community. West Winds is proud to present Timeless, a two-part concert jointly conducted by our Resident Conductor, ME5 Philip Tng, and Guest Conductors James Swearingen, one of the most celebrated composers of school band literature, and Benjamin Yeo. The matinee and evening concerts will feature two different repertoires. Attend this special concert with your band mates and relive the sweet camaraderie forged as a band as we bring to you enduring and well-loved band compositions.
