Atomic Sushi announce disbandment

Shoegaze four-piece Atomic Sushi have decided to call it quits. In a statement made on Facebook on Sunday, November 26, the band shared that in light of the issues surrounding their front man, Joshua Morente, they have decided "not to continue with the band as we [they] not want to be haunted by its past."  The band felt it was the best decision to make for all the parties involved.

In light of the accusations convicted to our vocalist, Joshua Morente, we are angry and deeply saddened by the incident. We are very sorry for failing to see the evil within our group. Rest assured that his actions won't go unreprimanded. We’d like to extend our apologies directly to the ones who had been hurt by him. We deeply feel for you and we hope for your healing.

Sad to say but we've decided not to continue with the band as we do not want to be haunted by its past. We've made this decision for the best of all parties involved.

We'd like to thank you all for the support. We thank you for inspiring our journey. We'll forever cherish the noise we shared.
