Yes, it's that time of year again. Horror film screenings, malls are decorated with spiderwebs and carved pumpkins, and pumpkin spice lattes are back on Starbucks' menu. It's spooky season, and what better way is there to celebrate than attending a Halloween event or two? 

From horror-themed concerts to costume parties, Bandwagon has compiled a list of online and offline events that you should check out this month. Read on to find out how you can raise your Halloween spirit this October!


Candlelight Halloween: A Haunted Evening of Spooky Compositions on Strings

Classical music and horror film enthusiasts – this is a concert not to be missed. Enter a whole other spooky dimension at Candlelight Halloween in a venue illuminated solely by candles. Taking place at Singapore's famous CHIJMES Hall, look forward to classical renditions of popular horror movie soundtracks from classics like Beetlejuice, Psycho, and The Addams Family

HALLOWEEN MIDNIGHT CIRCUS: DREAMCATCHER ONLINE CONCERT 2021

K-pop group Dreamcatcher will take the stage this Halloween for their online Halloween Midnight Concert. Known for their unique goth-nightmare aesthetic, this horror-themed performance is right up the 'BEcause' act's alley. This will be the group's fourth online concert following their recent concert in March. Different bundles are available for the one-of-a-kind performance, including sets with photocards, wristbands, and more.

The Projector’s Halloweenie

Singapore's popular arthouse theatre The Projector is gearing up for the spooky season with their annual Halloweenie event. Promising a thrilling lineup of horror films, a costume contest, as well as Halloween-themed bites, it's the ultimate spookfest for the movie geek. Horror movies to be screened include Swedish horror romance Let The Right One In, 2006 fantasy movie Pan's Labyrinth, and Joko Anwar's 2019 film Impetigore.

Everland Halloween Night

South Korean theme park Everland is celebrating Halloween this year with a special virtual concert titled Halloween Night. Broadcasted live on Everland's YouTube page, the lineup features 'Rollin' act Brave Girls and the rising K-pop group CIX. Join the artists in a 90-minute show where they will perform dressed in Halloween costumes direct from the Everland Four Seasons Garden stage.

Universal Studios Singapore Halloween Horror Nights Exhibition

Experience the iconic Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) like never before in this first-ever HHN Exhibition at Universal Studios Singapore. Find yourself face-to-face with the creepiest costumes, props, and sets from the last nine years of HHN events. Apart from the exhibition, guests can also look forward to meet-and-greets with Halloween characters, trick-or-treating fun with Candy Ambassadors around the park, as well as supernatural-themed refreshments and bites at the restaurants on-site.

Halloween HOHOL with Cheats

Join Filipino indie-rock outfit Cheats at their online Halloween party on Zoom! Celebrating the release of their latest single 'Hakbang', the online event will include game night, a costume party, and more.
