Cheats are teaming up with actor Piolo Pascual for their next music video.

The Filipino rock act dropped the visual for their new single 'Hakbang', directed by Quark Henares, on 27 October (Wednesday) at 6 p.m. PHT/SGT. It marks their first offering under Island Records Philippines.

The new Mikey Amistoso-produced track was written by vocalist and guitarist Jim Bacarro with lyrics by Ali Sangalang, and is set to appear on Cheats' upcoming third studio album.

"I just wanted to write a song that reflects what a couple goes through during quarantine,” Bacarro shares in a statement.

Earlier this week, the 'Daze' act shared a teaser of their 'Hakbang' video, which sees the Filipino actor sitting on a chair and staring up at the ceiling.

'Hakbang' follows the release of Cheats' first Tagalog single 'Tawid' in February. Cheats members Saab Magalona-Bacarro and Jim Bacarro recently launched their own kids' music channel Puddy Rock, which features original music and classic nursery rhymes in English and Filipino.
