The annual Baybeats festival will be returning for an exciting new edition this year.
Scheduled to be held at the Esplanade in Singapore from 28 October to 30 October, the event will bring together artists from Singapore and Asia who represent an array of sounds. These include post-rock, shoegaze, grunge, metal, emo, punk, glam rock, electronica, electro, indie, folk, power-pop, and twee pop.
On 15 September, Baybeats 2022's organisers unveiled the long-awaited artist lineup for this year's festival. Set to perform on Day 1 are IMAN, motifs, Astronauts (also on Day 2), Hathaw9y, Carpet Golf (also on Day 2), Hijack Hayley, Naedr, FERS, Quite Quiet, Purbawara, Bakers In Space, and BURGERKILL.
Day 2's performers include xena giam, Khana Bierbood (also on Day 3), Go Go Machine Orchestra, Drinking Boys and Girls Choir, Reserate, Trust The Chaos (also on Day 3), G5SH, and Rudra.

Billed as a "melting pot in the heart of Asia facilitating exchanges of different musical cultures", Baybeats has grown into one of the most celebrated music festivals in Singapore since its inception in 2002. Aside from hosting free live performances, it serves as a hub for musicians to network and trade ideas.
