BigHit Music confirms BTS V's recovery from COVID-19

BigHit Music has officially confirmed BTS V's recovery from COVID-19.

On February 21, the 'Christmas Tree' singer took to Instagram to post stories to reassure fans of his condition. "You're sweet to worry. Have a good day."

A day later (22/2), BigHit Music announced via Weverse that Kim Taehyung, who goes by the stage name V, has made a complete recovery and has ended quarantine. Throughout his treatment, the 'Snow Flower' act did not exhibit any symptoms except for the slight fever when he was first diagnosed.

He has since been cleared to return to his daily activities. Read the full statement below.

This is BIGHIT MUSIC.
 
We would like to inform you that BTS member V has made a full recovery from COVID-19 and his quarantine has concluded as of today, February 22.
 
V has been receiving treatment from home from Tuesday the 15th, and he is now able to return to his daily activities.
 
V did not exhibit any particular symptoms during his quarantine. He had a slight fever when he first began treatment at home but has since made a full recovery.
 
We would like to express our gratitude to all the fans who have shown concerns for the artist’s health as well as those in the medical field who are doing their best to overcome COVID-19.
 
We will continue to place the health of the artists as our top priority, and to vigilantly follow the health care guidelines.

The news comes ahead of BTS' upcoming PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE concerts at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium. The shows are set to take place in-person on 10, 12 and 13 March and will be made available to international fans via livestream on VenewLive and live-viewing in cinemas across the globe.
