P-pop powerhouse BINI delivered a landmark performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on 11 April, marking the first time an all-Filipino act took the stage at the globally renowned festival.

Taking over the Mojave stage in Indio, California, the eight-member group turned their 45-minute set into a full-on celebration of OPM, drawing a diverse crowd of festivalgoers from around the world. From the jump, the energy was undeniable — opening with ‘Shagidi’, the group quickly powered through ‘Zero Pressure’ and ‘Out Of My Head’, setting the tone for a tightly choreographed, high-impact showcase.

The setlist leaned into both fan favourites and newer material. Tracks like ‘Karera’ and ‘Salamin, Salamin’ sparked loud singalongs, while ‘Blink Twice’ and ‘Cherry on Top’ kept momentum high. A standout moment came with the live debut of ‘Blush’, giving fans a first taste of the group’s evolving sound on an international stage. Closing with ‘Pantropiko’, BINI capped off their set with one of their most recognisable hits — a fitting finale that had the crowd moving.

Between songs, members Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena took time to reflect on the moment. “We are so grateful to be here to represent the Philippines on a global stage,” Aiah shared, while Maloi described the experience as the “sweetest ‘cherry on top’” of their journey so far.

Fans — known as Blooms — also showed up offline, organising watch parties across Metro Manila to celebrate the milestone moment together.

For many, this wasn’t just a debut — it was a statement. BINI’s Coachella set proved that Filipino pop has a place on the global stage, and they’re leading the charge.
