BigHit Music confirms "no changes for BTS' Seoul concert in March 2022"

BTS are still on track to hold their in-person concert in Seoul later this year.

In a statement to Korean news outlet Newsen, BigHit Music shares that BTS have been planning to head to the US this month to attend the 2022 GRAMMY Awards. However, the 2022 edition has been postponed indefinitely by the Recording Academy citing "too many risks" if they push through with the in-person ceremony.

The Korean global superstars earned a second consecutive nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their record-breaking hit single, 'Butter'.

BigHit Music also confirmed that there are "no changes for Seoul concert in March 2022" and that the group is gearing up for the release of their new album which will "open the door to a new chapter".

However, due to COVID-19 restrictions, stadiums are limited to an audience of 4,000. BigHit Music are also considering the possibility of an online livestream for the show.

BTS have had another banner year in 2021 - from winning countless awards, breaking numerous records, topping charts, and returning to the live stage to reunite with ARMY at their PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE in LA concerts. The members of BTS are on their second official "extended period of rest", taking time off to relax with their families and recharge for 2022.
